One of the inspirations for starting this blog was that our apartment was featured as a holiday home tour on The Everygirl, a top women’s lifestyle website!
I have been following and reading The Everygirl since its founding in 2012, and it has a particularly special spot in my heart since it was started out of Chicago, where I grew up. I am truly in disbelief that it happened and was highlighted on one of my favorite sites – truly a dream come true! Below is an excerpt from their write up:

Prepping and executing the feature was definitely a learning experience for me, one that challenged me and also was just so so fun! Huge thanks to my dear friend Allie and my husband Greg or their help and support through the photo shoot process.
