No sugar, no dairy, no alcohol… no problem (ha!). Starting Dec 26, my husband and I started our second round of Whole 30. We did our first round in January 2021, and felt amazing, so we wanted to start this year out the same way. This time around, it isn’t as abrupt of a lifestyle change since after our first round at the start of 2021, we continued integrating the recipes into 80% of our weekly menu. Why? Long story short, I noticed a huge change in my mental and physical health, specifically my energy, hormone balance, mood and clearer skin, and it was just the best choice for our family, and want to get back on the hormone health bandwagon.
Here are some of our favorite Whole 30 compliant dishes from our first rounds of Whole 30, that we still make two years later! You can see all of our Whole 30 recipes we tried or want to try on my Pinterest board (note: some are not completely Whole 30 compliant, so you will need to make the right substitutions to stick within the rules!). Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon

Roasted sweet potato base, fried egg, mashed avocado with lime juice and garlic, smoked (Whole 30 compliant) salmon, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, green onion dressing (followed this recipe by Meatified), cilantro, squeeze of lemon juice. Optional: add Whole 30 compliant bacon.
